| Spark plugs and Parts | |
Everybody who tried to repair his vespa had to change this part semi ceramic/semi metal – the spark plug, without this little helper the best tuned vespa won’t run.
Please find enclosed a list of the most common spark plugs. The choice is giant, but think about choosing the right one for your engine to receive the right performance and the most power, or to risk a damaged engine afterwards. We sell spark plugs of the BOSCH company. To make the calculation easier we gonna give you the BOSCH heat datas to be used as a translation base for the spark plugs of other mades.
The first letter signifies the thread:
A= Short thread C= Long thread
The second letter signifies the electrode:
C= Copper S= Silver P= Platin
For your old Vespa up to 1973, we recommend the short thread BOSCH W4AC spark. The late models like GS series or SS180 used the BOSCH W4CC spark.
The 60’s and 70’s vespas have often been ridden more roughly than the regular ‘Oldtimer’, so for a more powerful way of riding his Vespa we suggest a ‘colder’spark like BOSCH
W3AC or W3CC.
